U3A stands for University of the Third Age. A U3A is a university in the original sense of the word: a community of people devoted to learning. We are a volunteer co-operative of older people who share many educational, creative and leisure activities. Although it is called a “ university “, being in your Third Age is the only qualification needed to participate in our U3A.

Class Enrolments are now open
Classes for 2026 can now be viewed via the Website (u3ayarracity.org.au) [Select “Classes & Events” Tab to view these] or view these via the member portal- [Click the green “Login” button on the u3ayarracity.org.au Website to log in to the portal. Then select the “Classes and Events” tab].
You can enrol in a class by clicking the Grey “Enrol” button that appears when you click a class to view details.
Renewing U3A Yarra City membership for 2026
Invoices for U3A Yarra City membership were emailed to members on Friday 7th November.
Instructions on how to make a payment were included in the email.
Members are now able to renew their U3A Yarra City membership at any time.
(Note: Life members and members who already have a 2026 subscription will not receive an invoice as they already have a 2026 membership.)
